Role Description The Executive Senior Vice President is a full-time remote role responsible for defining and leading the overall creative vision for Orcas Capital’s brand, communications, and marketing initiatives. This role oversees creative strategy across digital, print, and experiential channels, ensuring all content and campaigns align with the organization’s values of independence, integrity, and technical excellence. Day-to-day responsibilities include directing multidisciplinary creative teams, reviewing and approving high-impact concepts, collaborating with executive leadership on strategic messaging, and translating complex regulatory and technical information into clear, engaging narratives. The Executive Senior Vice President will also manage agency and vendor relationships, establish creative standards and guidelines, and use data and feedback to continuously refine creative output and brand positioning. This role requires close collaboration with marketing, operations, and leadership teams to support growth, stakeholder engagement, and brand trust.

Demonstrated experience in senior creative leadership roles, overseeing brand strategy, creative direction, and multi-channel campaigns.Proficiency in guiding teams in concept development, visual identity, copywriting, and content creation for digital and traditional media.Strong skills in strategic communication, including the ability to simplify complex technical or regulatory topics for diverse audiences.Experience collaborating with executive stakeholders, managing cross-functional projects, and aligning creative initiatives with business objectives.Background in or familiarity with regulated industries, quality systems, or professional services environments is highly beneficial.Ability to lead remote and distributed creative teams, fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performance culture.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills are a plus.Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Design, Marketing, or a related field; advanced education or equivalent experience is an asset.
