CPAT Technologies, one of our portfolio companies, is engaging with Kenya's Ministry of Health on three fronts: exporting Canadian pharmaceutical traceability technology, training pharmacists, and bringing Canadian medicines to the Kenyan market.

To lead this work on the ground, we are looking for a Superintendent Pharmacist / Quality & Regulatory Lead.

Role: Superintendent Pharmacist / Quality & Regulatory Lead

Location: Nairobi, Kenya

Type: Full-time

Reports to: Country Managing Director, with a professional line to CPAT's Canadian pharmacist leadership

What you'll do

• Act as the registered superintendent pharmacist on CPAT's importer/wholesale premises licence

• Lead product registration dossiers for Canadian medicines with the national regulator

• Build the quality management system: GDP, SOPs, cold chain, recalls and pharmacovigilance

• Oversee import permits, inspections and batch release

• Help shape pharmacist training and advise on dispensing workflows for the traceability programme

• Work with the Pharmaceutical Society of Kenya and other professional bodies

What you bring

• Bachelor of Pharmacy, registered and licensed with the Kenyan pharmacy regulator

• 7+ years in pharmaceutical import, wholesale, regulatory affairs or quality assurance

• Proven experience compiling product registration dossiers

• Strong knowledge of Good Distribution Practice and pharmacovigilance

In your first year, success means our premises licence is granted, our first Canadian products are registered, and we pass every inspection with no critical findings.
