Responsibilities

Contribute to AI and machine-learning features for search and personalisation
Build data preparation, evaluation, and experimentation workflows
Work with prompts, embeddings, retrieval, structured outputs, and LLM APIs
Integrate AI capabilities into reliable product and backend systems
Investigate model quality, latency, and failure cases
Communicate technical findings and collaborate with distributed teams

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field
Strong Python programming skills
Understanding of machine learning, NLP, or information retrieval fundamentals
Familiarity with APIs, Git, debugging, and basic software engineering practices
Ability to work remotely within the United Kingdom

Preferred

Experience with LLM applications, RAG, embeddings, or model evaluation
Familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, or cloud AI services
Experience building AI prototypes or data pipelines
Interest in AI agents, recommendation systems, or search technology
